Guidelines for Presentations
The call for abstracts is already closed. There is NO possibility of accepting submissions beyond the deadline.
The word limit for the abstract is 300 words and it will appear in the online abstract book exactly as entered in the form.
An individual may be primary author on only one abstract however can be co-author of multiple ones. The first author must always register in the meeting even if the abstract is presented by a co-author.
Symposia speakers can submit an extra abstract as first author, being able to present a symposium talk and one individual presentation (oral or poster).
Presentation Formats
There are three presentation formats:
- Symposia Presentations
Each symposia have a duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes and includes: 5 minutes for introduction of the speakers and the topic of the symposium, 30 minutes to each of the four symposium speakers and 10 final minutes for general discussion.
- Oral Presentations
Oral presentations have the duration of 15 minutes: 12 minutes for your presentation, 2 minutes for questions and one minute to allow participants to change rooms. After the 14 minutes, the “Time Keeper” in the room must ask the presenter to conclude the talk.
- Poster Presentations
Posters will be up in the lounge of the venue where the coffee breaks will occur, giving high visibility to these presentations.
Guideline for Posters
Guidelines: Posters should be at A0 format (85cm width x 120 cm height) with readable graphs and the main points about the research.
The option Symposium Contribution (in case of symposia applicants) it is just for the applicants that are included in the selected symposia (the call for symposia is already closed).
